By playing Beasts of the Field you agree to these terms. They are short because the game is young.
Field-test software
The game is in active development and distributed for testing. Things will change, break, and occasionally be reset — including creatures, species records, battle history, and virtual currencies. We'll try to be gentle; we make no promises.
Your photographs
You keep ownership of every photograph you take. By developing a photo you grant us the license needed to operate the game: to process it for identification, to retain a reduced archive copy for improving recognition, and to display your creature's background-removed cutout to other players during battles. You can withdraw this by requesting deletion (see the Privacy Policy).
Only photograph what you're allowed to photograph, from places you're allowed to be. Don't photograph people as captures — the game refuses them, and circumventing that is a violation of these terms.
Play fair
No photographing screens or prints to fake captures, no location spoofing, no exploiting bugs for advantage, no abusive display names, no interfering with the service. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Our content
The game's names, characters (Lord Beastmont included), art, design, and software are ours. Species records created through play — names, stats, discovery credits — are part of the game's shared world and remain part of the service.
Virtual items
Film, candy, and other in-game items have no monetary value, aren't transferable outside the game, and may be adjusted for balance. During field testing, purchases (if enabled) may be test transactions.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months (during field testing: nothing).
Termination
You can stop playing at any time; deleting the app and emailing us for account deletion severs the relationship completely. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
